Predictor for the Wrocław Half Marathon
This is an example of an application that uses a regression model. A properly trained model predicts the user's finish time for a 21 km run. Of course, first you need to answer a few questions :-)
Below the working application, you can view and download a Jupyter Notebook file, in which I have shown step by step the process of analyzing, cleaning, and preparing the data of several thousand participants in the Wrocław half marathon from the years 2023 and 2024. Then, I demonstrated how the model training process looked and how the best model was selected according to a specific metric.
